What we collect
When you create a SnapShot account we collect your name, email address, and (optionally) a phone number. When you order an album we also collect the shipping and billing addresses you enter and a record of your order.
The photos you upload are the heart of the service. We store your original photo files and smaller display copies so you can build your album and we can print it.
How we use your photos
Your photos are used for one purpose: making your physical photo album. They are shown back to you in the album builder, and the photos you place in an ordered album are printed by our fulfillment team. We do not use your photos for advertising, we do not train AI models on them, and we do not share them with anyone except the people who print your album.
Photos you upload but don't order stay in your account so you can use them in a future album, until you delete them or your account.
Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card number is sent directly to Stripe and never touches SnapShot's servers; we keep only a reference to the payment and the order total.
We send transactional email only: order receipts, password-reset links, and responses to requests you make (such as account deletion). We don't send marketing email without your consent.
Cookies
We use one essential cookie to keep you signed in. Analytics cookies are used only if you accept them in the cookie banner — declining never affects how the service works.
Deleting your data
You can request deletion of your account from the Personal info page in your account. Deletion removes your profile, photos, and albums; order records may be retained where required for accounting.
